Milker - Dairy Farm

Apt Resources is currently looking for a dedicated Milker to join our renowned dairy farm in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is crucial for ensuring the health and productivity of our dairy herd while maintaining the highest standards of milk quality. As a Milker, you will be responsible for performing milking operations efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of the dairy farm.

Responsibilities

• Perform milking procedures efficiently and hygienically according to farm standards.
• Prepare cows for milking (cleaning, checking for mastitis, attaching milking units).
• Monitor milk quality and report abnormalities such as color, texture, or udder issues.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain all milking equipment and parlors after each session.
• Assist in feeding, moving, and caring for cows when needed.
• Observe and report any signs of illness, injury, or irregular behavior among cows.
• Follow farm safety, hygiene, and animal welfare policies at all times.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth milking operations across all shifts.

Requirements

• Previous experience in dairy milking operations preferred but not required (training can be provided).
• Basic knowledge of animal handling and farm hygiene.
• Physically fit and willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining high-quality milk and animal welfare standards.

Benefits

Salary: AED1,800 plus AED 200 food allowance, plus free accommodation, and all other benefits as per UAE laws
