Middle School English Teacher

We are looking for English Teachers to join a School located in Suzhou. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year in August 2026.

About the job

You'll be part of a program in a middle school with educational support from British schools. Your daily teaching will use Cambridge textbooks like Kid's Box and English in Mind. You'll design lessons with different teaching materials and also provide feedback and training to other teachers. Working closely with your Chinese co-teachers is essential for teaching continuity, so good communication skills are important. As well as:

• Teach the English (ESL) subject to middle school students from grade 7 till grade 8
• Collaborate with co-teachers to plan and follow lesson objectives and syllabus
• Prepare lessons together with co-teachers and use course handbooks
• Maintain regular communication with co-teachers for teaching consistency
• Evaluate and support teachers based on inspection guidelines
• Organize and participate in extracurricular activities twice a week
• Grade assignments and communicate with students and parents as needed
• Create an engaging learning environment for students and parents
• Attend teacher training sessions and assessments

Requirements

• Have a bachelor’s degree (any major accepted)
• At least 2 years of experience teaching
• Accreditations including Trinity CertTESOL, Cambridge TKT, Trinity DipTESOL, DELTM or similar
• Excellent English communication skills in both written and spoken
• Newly qualified PGCE teachers preferred
