Job Position:

As a Mid-Level Designer at Marketwake, you’ll play a key role in creating visually compelling, strategically driven design solutions across digital and print media. This is a hands-on design role ideal for someone who has a few years of experience and is ready to take ownership of projects, contribute creatively to client work, and grow their expertise within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with our creative and strategy teams to deliver outstanding brand, web, and campaign designs that move the needle for our clients. You’ll also get opportunities to mentor junior team members and stretch your skills across a variety of mediums.

This is a hybrid role, located in Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities

• Visual Design Execution: Produce high-quality designs across brand, digital, social, and print mediums that align with client goals and project strategy.

• Concept Development: Collaborate on ideation and creative concepting during kickoff, brainstorms, and wireframing phases.

• Collaboration: Partner with developers, writers, strategists, and other creatives to bring integrated campaigns and websites to life.

• Client Support: Participate in client presentations and design reviews, clearly articulating your design rationale and adapting based on feedback.

• Brand Consistency: Ensure brand guidelines are followed and elevated across all deliverables, contributing to strong, cohesive brand identities.

• Project Ownership: Manage multiple projects with oversight from senior creatives and the Art Director, keeping timelines and expectations on track.

• Continued Growth: Stay up to date on design trends, technologies, and industry innovations to continually enhance the quality of your work.

• UX/UI Contribution: Support the creation of intuitive, user-focused interfaces for websites and applications, contributing wireframes, visual systems, and design documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional design experience, preferably in an agency or high-volume environment.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma or similar UX/UI design tools.

• Solid portfolio demonstrating work across branding, digital, and marketing collateral.

• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and layout best practices.

• Experience working on web and UX/UI projects with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Comfortable working independently on day-to-day tasks while receiving direction from senior creatives.
