Job description

We're looking for an organized and collaborative Merchandise Coordinator who is ready to kick start their Buying career! This role will provide administrative support to the Buyer and Assistant Buyer as well as communicate and follow up with the DC and vendors to track orders in progress.
 
This position operates on a hybrid schedule of three days in our HQ office in Southern California.
 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Processes, turns in and tracks all top samples for website
  • Helps coordinate samples and meets deadlines for all campaign launches and mailers
  • Processes Purchase Orders
  • Inputs and reconciles store price changes 
  • Updates all POs when necessary (date changes, price changes, description updates etc.)
  • Follows up on incoming and late orders
  • Sets up and assists in meetings with vendors
  • Performs other duties assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Associates Degree or work experience preferred
  • Deep analytical skills and quantitative abilities. You can crunch numbers and aren't afraid of the words: analysis & Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to successfully prioritize and complete projects with effective time management skills
  • Illustrates a dedication to meeting requirements of internal and external customers, responding to all customer requests promptly and thoroughly
  • Strong communication skills including ability to work in a team environment, give honest, direct feedback and is a solid verbal and written communicator
  • Is accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively and looks for ways to resolve problems and issues
  • Strong knowledge of pop culture and fashion trends with a passion for our product! 
  • Last but definitely not least; you'll need to be a team player with a positive attitude. We're a collaborative team, and we need team members that understand that what we're accomplishing collectively is both amazing and attributed to camaraderie and teamwork

Compensation (from employer):
20–21.5 USD per-hour-wage
