If you want to use your skills to build a healthier, more resilient community, we encourage you to apply.</span></p><br><p style="margin: 0">This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health (OMH), Spartanburg Area Mental Health Center, 250 Dewey Ave, Spartanburg, SC 29303.</p><br><p style="margin: 0">Under limited supervision provides culturally sensitive services of Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, Crisis Assessment, PRS, and case management services to assigned clients in the Rehab Services Program.</p><br><p style="margin-top: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-bottom: 0"><strong><u><span style="color: inherit">Responsibilities for the Mental Health Professional I</span></u></strong><strong><em><u><span style="color: inherit">:</span></u></em></strong></p><ul><li><p style="margin-top: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-bottom: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Provide Assessment, Individual and Group Services, Crisis Intervention, PRS, and Family Therapy to assigned clients.</span></p></li><li><p style="margin-top: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-bottom: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Function as part of treatment team. &nbsp;Work with clients and other staff to develop Treatment Plans for individual clients and helps to develop program plan to meet these individuals' goals.</span></p></li><li><p style="margin-top: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-bottom: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Assist with coordinating care for patients at Rosewood ALF, Cantrell's RCF, and Draymont Ridge apartments, and acts as liaison between MHC and these facilities.</span></p></li><li><p style="margin-top: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-bottom: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Maintain clinical records to Quality Assurance Standards and maintain compliance with Federal, State and Local Corporate Compliance Laws.</span></p></li><li><p style="margin-top: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-bottom: 0"><span style="color: inherit">Attend staff meetings, supervisory conferences, workshops, and required staff development and training.</span></p></li></ul><ul><li>A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.</li></ul><strong><u>Additional Requirement:</u></strong><br><ul><li><p style="margin: 0"><span style="color: inherit">In order to be credentialed for core services as a Mental Health Professional at the SC Office of Mental Health, applicants must provide evidence of clinical experience <u>providing direct patient care</u>. This experience may be documented as a practicum or internship during graduate program, or post-graduate clinical experience.
