Job Description

In your new role you will:
  • Support the definition of the embedded non-volatile memory (Flash, RRAM, ROM and emerging memory technologies) architecture of our next high-performance microcontroller product generation with GHz Class CPUs, a rich set of accelerators and high-speed communication interfaces and significant amount of embedded memories
  • Develop and define a FW/SW, test, safety, security and customer friendly memory architecture which fulfills the main KPIs power, area and timing/performance
  • Drive architecture documentation and review with stakeholders
  • Drive innovation regarding dependability and availability, security and advanced power saving techniques under automotive-specific boundary conditions
  • Cooperate closely with lead NVM experts and expert teams such as platform lead architects, SW/FW development, design and test teams


Your Profile
You have a clear notion of how innovation contributes to the commercial success of the company, you constantly gain new insights by questioning existing assumptions and you inspire others for your ideas explaining even complex issues in a clear and convincing manner. Furthermore, you accept responsibility and accountability for decisions, and you are open to new challenges without knowing the right path to a solution in advance. If you remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations and take decisions despite uncertain circumstances, then you should join our team.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field
  • At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a platform/SoC architect or concept engineer in the area of SoCs development or high-level memory design
  • Expert knowledge in memories (VM or NVM), digital design and generation for complex SoCs and platforms including memory bandwidth, interface considerations with respect to parameters like area, power and performance
  • Fluent English skills
