Job description
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new Kernel Virtual Machine (KVM) and Quick Emulator (QEMU) features
- Maintain and fix problems in the KVM and QEMU products.
- Constantly push towards making KVM and QEMU products highly reliable, performant and secure.
- Interact with the open source community and contribute KVM and QEMU changes to upcoming releases.
- Be passionate about datacenter management problems and strive to come up with innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Love of programming
- Good C and Python, ideally for enterprise-quality software
- Extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux
- Familiarity with OS internals, concepts of distributed systems.
- Familiarity with x86 architecture, virtualization and/or storage and network management
- Familiarity with KVM and QEMU preferred.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s and Master’s (preferred) in Computer Science
- 3-7 years of industry experience or equivalent research experience
