Job description

Whether it's the unique breadth of our integrated offering that covers Injectable Aesthetics, Dermatological Skincare and Therapeutic Dermatology products; or our commitment to recognizing and rewarding people for the contribution they make - working here isn't like anywhere else.

At Galderma, we actively give our teams reasons to believe in our ambition to become the leading dermatology company in the world. With us, you have the ultimate opportunity to gain new and challenging work experiences and create an unparalleled, direct impact.

We’re looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our Medical team, based in Melbourne, VIC

This role will suit someone who is comfortable working with ambiguity, confident building relationships from the ground up, and motivated by scientific credibility rather than process. You will be shaping how this function operates in Australia as much as delivering within it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals and academic centres across dermatology

  • Lead scientific exchange, sharing the latest data and insights on Therapeutic Dermatology

  • Deliver credible, non-promotional scientific presentations and training to HCPs and internal teams

  • Partner closely with commercial teams, providing scientific support for their immediate needs

  • Gather and share market insights, competitor intelligence and emerging trends from congresses and literature

  • Support clinical research by identifying investigators and enabling scientific exchange

  • Stay current on clinical literature and scientific developments in dermatology

Ideally you will have

  • A medical, pharmacy or life sciences degree (MSc, PhD or equivalent)

  • Experience in an MSL, medical or research role within pharma, biotech or medical devices

  • Confidence presenting scientific and medical content to clinicians and other healthcare professionals

  • Dermatology or immunology-biologics experience highly regarded

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build credibility with medical professionals

  • A collaborative mindset, comfortable working in a fast moving, matrixed environment

  • Willingness to travel, including interstate

What we offer in return

  • We offer a competitive package, along with benefits designed to support your growth and wellbeing, including:

  • Career development opportunities

  • Paid parental leave

  • Additional leave to celebrate your birthday

  • Dermatology treatments from Galderma’s world-leading aesthetics portfolio, twice per year

  • Volunteering leave day annually

  • Corporate discount on Medibank Private Health Insurance

Why Join Us?

You’ll be joining a global dermatology leader with premium brands trusted worldwide, and a team culture built on collaboration, accountability and care.

This is a role where you can make a visible impact, helping our managers and field teams build confidence, sharpen their skills and bring dermatological innovation to customers across Australia and New Zealand.

We believe diverse perspectives help us deliver better outcomes for our customers, patients and consumers. At Galderma, our people make a difference, and we want every team member to feel supported to thrive and do their best work.

Ready to make an impact?

Apply now and join us in shaping the future of dermatology.
