Medical Lab Science Instructor

Compensation Range:

Position Summary:

This is a tenured-track faculty position. Desire candidates with on-going professional development interests, love of teaching, and enthusiasm for campus and College committees and activities.

Required Qualifications:

The position requires at least master’s degree and hold a current ASCP-BOC U.S. generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist and American Medical Technology (AMT) certification

Supplemental Job Information:

To be considered, applicants must have been awarded the qualifying degree and/or qualifying graduate semester hours. A faculty screening committee will analyze the strength of your application materials.  You should include a complete online application, CV, cover letter, unofficial transcripts, and professional references.  Applicants with a qualifying degree from an educational institution outside the United States and Canada must submit a foreign credential evaluation from one of the members of the National Association of Credential Evaluations Services (website: www.naces.org).  To complete your application, you must attach a copy of your graduate academic transcripts from an accredited institution of higher education, showing attainment of at least the minimum qualifications.  If the transcript has not been updated to show the awarding of the required degree, applicants must bring written documentation from the educational institution showing when the degree was awarded.

A faculty screening committee will analyze the strength of your application materials.

Pay Rate:

A faculty member shall be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the contract with the faculty union.

• Grade 2:    Master’s Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the field $51,934.60
• Grade 2+: Master’s Degree with 30 graduate semester hours in the field $54,594.23
• Grade 1:    Earned Doctor in major field $57,255.05
