Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

Aureol Global Connections seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to support ongoing Water/Wastewater maintenance and installation activities across the region.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Maintenance Fitter will perform installation, repair, upgrades, and maintenance of mechanical systems within Water/Wastewater facilities. The role requires on-site mechanical work, customer support, and compliance with safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform assembly and mechanical installation for water/wastewater plants.

· Maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, and drive systems.

· Conduct system repairs, upgrades, and refurbishment.

· Install pumps and complete inspections and maintenance work.

· Work with pipework (PVC, DI, stainless steel).

· Support service and spare sales with technical input.

· Ensure compliance with RAMS, SSOW, and HSQE standards.

· Complete daily reports and documentation.

· Identify and propose improvements to systems and processes.

Requirements

· Qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.

· Water/Wastewater industry experience preferred.

· Experience with pumps, motors, drive systems essential.

· Chemical handling experience an advantage.

· Strong IT skills for reporting.

· Ability to work independently and make on-site decisions.

· Full clean driving licence.
