Job description

Key Responsibilities:

 

-Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of RDF mechanical equipment.-Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for RDF systems.
-Supervise maintenance activities for RDF receiving, storage, conveying, shredding, dosing, and feeding equipment.
-Monitor equipment performance and reliability using maintenance KPIs.
-Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical failures.
-Develop maintenance strategies to improve equipment availability and reduce downtime.
-Coordinate major shutdowns and annual maintenance activities.
-Manage spare parts requirements and inventory optimization for RDF equipment.
-Inspect chain conveyors, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, feeders, hydraulic systems, shredders, gearboxes, bearings, fans, and dust collection equipment.
-Review vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and condition monitoring reports.
-Prepare maintenance work orders, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
-Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, LOTO requirements, and risk assessments.
-Support commissioning and startup activities for new RDF equipment.
-Collaborate with production teams to maximize RDF utilization and plant availability.
-Manage contractor activities and ensure quality of maintenance work.
-Prepare technical reports, maintenance budgets, and performance reviews.
-plan & Implement continuous improvement initiatives for the area.
-Participate in CAPEX and equipment upgrade projects.
-Ensure compliance with environmental and housekeeping standards in RDF facilities.
-Train technicians on maintenance best practices and equipment troubleshooting.

 

Qualifications & Skills :

 

-Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

-Additional certification in Maintenance Management, Reliability Engineering, Alternative Fuels,  is a plus

-5–8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within cement plants, heavy industry, waste-to-energy, or alternative fuel facilities

-Minimum 3 years of experience with RDF systems, conveyors, shredders, feeders, and bulk material handling equipment.
