Job description

Aureol Global Connections is currently seeking two Mechanical Fitters with experience in Propulsion Alignment to join our skilled engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and aligning mechanical components, primarily focusing on propulsion systems. You will work closely with engineers to ensure that all installations meet quality and performance standards. Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, and align various mechanical components within propulsion systems according to specifications.
  • Conduct precision alignments of rotating equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize wear.
  • Inspect and test mechanical systems to verify proper functionality and adherence to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during installation.
  • Document installation and alignment processes, providing detailed reports of work completed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all mechanical fitting operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality and efficiency in mechanical fitting processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to propulsion systems and mechanical alignment practices.

Requirements

  • Trade certification or equivalent experience in Mechanical Fitting or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, specifically in propulsion alignment and installation.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, propulsion technologies, and alignment techniques.
  • Competency with hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and alignment equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and reporting on progress.
  • Flexibility to work on-site and adapt to varying project requirements as needed.
