Mechanical Fitter - DIDO from Brisbane - Immediate start

We provide pipework systems, mild steel cement lined (MSCL) piping & fittings, structural steel, plate fabrication, site installation, maintenance and Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) services.

Due to growth in the business we are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our O&G Project team for immediate start!

The project is based in Roma QLD. Installing a compressor station working in the oil & gas sector. Successful candidates will need experience in the below:

• Oil and Gas experience.
• Flange management.
• Installation of valves and piping
• Read and understand drawings to enable correct fitting of pipework & associated valves / instrumentation into oil & gas skids
• Complete in depth inspection test reports, flange closure reports
• Close tolerance and interface fitting
• Work under own initiative and as part of a team

• Trade Qualification in fitting or similar mechanical field.
• Previous experience in Oil & Gas Pipework & Equipment
• Experience with hi-torque flange management torquing and tensioning process and procedures
• High regard for working safely and environmentally responsible.
• Ability to work in an adaptable team and use own initiative.
• Prepared to mobilise for site execution phase of the project.
• Experience with compressor install, shaft alignment and rotating equipment highly desirable.
