Select Staff is looking for an experienced Diesel Engine Mechanic to work in Victoria, TX

$17 - $19 per hour, depending on experience

Temp to hire available

• Performs maintenance of electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks to include changing of oil, oil filters, fuel filters, transmission oil, air filters, belts and hoses, and inflate/deflate tire pressures, etc.
• May perform or assist in minor to major repairs related to diesel engines, lubricating system, cooling system, electrical/wiring, batteries, suspension and steering, wheels and tires, etc.
• Read or create job orders based on drivers' needs; determine malfunctions and plan work procedures.

• Overtime is a requirement of the job
• Current, valid Driver's License required
• High school diploma or GED
• Fluent in English (read, write, speak) required
• May perform work of lesser skilled employees
• Must pass criminal background check and drug test
• Must be able to lift 50 to 75 lbs.
