Job Summary
- Seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting mission-critical systems
- The i will work within a collaborative team environment to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions aligned with customer requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze user and system requirements to design and develop software solutions
- Develop, enhance, and maintain complex software applications
- Implement algorithms to meet performance and functional standards
- Participate in system architecture and design discussions
- Develop APIs, backend services, and user interfaces as required
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Conduct unit, integration, and system testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
- Support deployment, configuration management, and release activities
- Contribute to technical documentation and user guides
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- Experience using the Linux command line interface
- Experience developing microservices using Java and Spring
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and containerd
- Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Experience using system monitoring tools including Grafana and Prometheus
- Experience using Git for version control
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery principles and tools such as GitLab CI and ArgoCD
- Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch for data indexing and retrieval
- Experience with NiFi for dataflow management and ingestion
- Experience with the Amazon HCI platform
- Strong debugging, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in an Agile development environment and on a multi-disciplinary team
Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
