Job Description Summary:

JOB SUMMARY

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous availability of ingredients, packaging materials, and other production inputs required to meet manufacturing and customer demand. The role involves balancing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, managing supply risks, and working closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted operations while minimizing cost and waste

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

1- Material Planning

  • Accountable for the ordering of all Raw Materials from suppliers so as to ensure manufacturing requirements are met and the inventory policy adhered to.
  • Accountable for developing valid delivery receipt plans to ensure raw material inventory availability to meet production plan.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of planning parameters through the effective utilization of systems and resources.
  • Accountable for the development of an inventory policy that meets the needs of the business and ensures flexibility.
  • Support the plant supply chain with the accurate and detailed information within the plant  to enable other functions to provide a service within the supply chain framework
  • Support the value creation projects  from the material by introducing a new ideas in the supply chain business
  • Responsible for the POR target
  • Daily follow up with Suppliers to insure on time deliveries.
  • Participating in managing supply projects.
  • Coordinate with other CPS planning functions so as to ensure Global customer demands are met.
  • Review weeks of stock on a weekly basis or as necessary and take action accordingly
  • Reviewing purchased quantities, to minimize shipping costs through optimizing required quantities, (by consolidating shipments and/or changing from Air freight to Sea freight) by precise communication with all plant departments.

2-Business Planning

  •  (Lead) SOP Meetings & represent the material planning dept. in the  SPP monthly meeting.
  • Co-ordinate with Quality Assurance all hold/or rejected Material to take action with supplier.
  • Adopt & support the implementation of E2E material planning modules, per the set targets and project timelines.
  • Manage raw material volumes to support supply point shifts and new products introductions
  • Working closely with the operational excellence to improve the process
  • Engagement in DWT meetings in the supply chain and inventory management
  • Ensure that all the supply chain process are standardized and integrated within the plant
  • Patriciate in and execute the business continuity plan  
  • Respond to additional demand requests within agreed SLA time
  • 3- Inbound transportation
  • Manage the IN Bound freight transportation of selected material from our side.
  •  4- Reporting

  • Weekly follow up report (YOOFR) to follow up on any updated messages on SAP and with suppliers for the same purposes.
  • WOS report for checking the WOS levels in plant and to take the necessary actions to adjust to the policy.
  • Ingredients shortage report to check the possibility of ingredients shortages specially for the long lead time materials to issue orders in advance.
  •      5- SSDR

  • Assisting in developing the supplier assessment program, through the following parameters: Service & Quality ( SSDR program )
  • To identify the SSDR categories as per the program in case of any SSDR was found.
  • To participate in the non-conformance committee to identify the SSDR category.
  •     6- Master Data

  • Update the MRP parameters in the system MRP I & MRP II (Planned Lead time, pack size, min order quantity and rounding quantity) at the beginning of every year.
  • Regular review of the MRP parameters in case of any change.
  • Annual updates from suppliers in case of any changes in the lead time
  • Responsible for the accuracy of planning parameters through the effective utilization of systems and resources.
  • 7- New products and Ingredients

  • To purchase ingredients requested by commercialization dept. for the existing ingredients and to make sure they are delivered on the time requested.
  • To issue orders for the new ingredients after the final communication has been done through procurement dept. and to get the QA approval for the new orders and send to supplier including coca cola specifications to also ensure on time delivery
  • 8- Inventory Management.

  • Regularly follow up the deliveries and SAP exceptional messages to avoid overstock or out of stock situation.
  • To participate in the weekly receiving plan to adjust final delivery dates in plant.

RELATED JOB REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS

  •     Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  •     Fluent in both English and Arabic.
  •     Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  •     Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems within supply chain or operations environments is preferred.
  •    Solid understanding of procurement, logistics, inventory, and supplier management processes.
  •    Proven ability to analyze operational data, identify gaps, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  •    Strong organizational, decision-making, and multitasking skills in fast-paced operational settings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
