• Manage inventory while supporting production
• Manage cost through efficient procurement of production materials and consumables
• Vendor Managed Inventory
• Consignment Inventory
• Manage Material Handlers, Analysts
• Adhere to regulatory requirements
• Work with scheduling to ensure material requirements are reviewed and materials available to meet production demand

• A minimum of 5 years in a production or quality-based environment is required.
• H.S. diploma or equivalent required, 2-3 years purchasing experience desired but not required.
• Previous manufacturing experience required.
• Basic understanding of math.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products (i.e. word and excel).
• Creative problem-solving skills and basic bookkeeping skills.
• May be required to upgrade his/her skills from time to time by completing outside classes.
• Ability to collect and analyze data to propose solutions to procurement-related problems.
• Must have the ability to work alone or in groups to get tasks completed.
• This position has the potential to grow into a management-level position.

• General office environment Division and Branch locations
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near a shop or yard where moving mechanical parts are present
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
