Description

What is the role? We are seeking a motivated engineer to drive material development. The position requires you to drive strategic next-generation materials, engage in hands-on project-based work, and establish key material supplier relationships. We encourage anyone passionate about sustainability and the environment, building relationships, developing top technical talent, and approaching problem-solving with curiosity and imagination to apply. Minimum Qualifications

In-depth understanding of material structure and property/performance relationship
Strong background in characterizing and specifying materials and performance using the design of experiments
Expertise in driving material scoping and development
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and resolution to solve complex problems
Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Textile Engineering, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of proven experience in yarn and textile constructions preferred.
Strong polymer background
