Pay Rate: $13.75/hr

We expect that this assignment will hopefully be a temp to hire- and should run 3-6 months.
Start time is 4:50 p.m. Once trained, overtime would be offered, then shift end will be 2:20 a.m. ABILITY TO DRIVE SMALL COMPANY TRUCK AND OTHER VEHICLES REQUIRED. (CDL is not required.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
The Material Handler will:
• Load, unload and move materials within or near plant, yard or worksite, performing any combination of the following duties.
• Read work order or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or items to be moved. Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand or use of material handling equipment.
• Convey materials to or from storage or worksite to designated area using fork-lift truck, hand-truck, dolly or other device.
• Count and record number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks. Maintain and distribute all work uniforms.
• Batch parts received according to instructions from supervisor.
• Patrol pallet outgoing areas of each department and move material as needed for next operation. Check Quality Control release area to insure completed work is moved to Shipping Department expeditiously.
• Drive Company Truck and other company vehicles for deliveries and other misc. assignments.
• Report unusual problems or conditions to supervisor.
• Observe company safety rules and regulations.
• Perform, as assigned, other similar or related duties.
