Material Handler

Job Summary**

Responsible for the accurate and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products.

Job Responsibilities**

* Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing lists, and report any discrepancies or damage.
* Unload and load trucks using appropriate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
* Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
* Pick and stage orders accurately and efficiently according to established procedures.
* Pack products securely for shipment, adhering to company standards and customer requirements.
* Prepare shipping documents, including labels and manifests.
* Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
* Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, performing routine inspections and maintenance checks.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.

Job Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
* Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification a plus).
* Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
