Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Drive forklift and combi-lift to move and organize finished materials.
• Participate in facility maintenance to maintain order in the shipping yard.
• Manage housekeeping in the work area.
• Responsible for placing finished goods in the shipping yard for shipment to customers/vendors.
• Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with other workstations.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• This opportunity is scheduled for 2nd Shift 

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Forklift or Combi Lift certification or the ability to achieve a certification within 30 days of assuming the role.

Competency using Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 6 months of experience working with a Forklift and/or Combi lift in a shiping/warehouse environment.
