Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

We're seeking a Masters Swim Team Coach to join our team! As our new Masters Swim Team Coach you will:

  • Coach adults in a recreational swimming league

  • Coach 2-4 hours weekly

  • Be the inspirational leader of the each swimming group to ensure the highest level of member engagement

  • Create practice plans 

  • Be involved in an ongoing program and evaluation process to determine the relevancy of existing programs and the development of new offerings

  • Communicate with participants via email and phone call.

  • Lead marketing efforts to grow the program such as attending other programmatic events or visiting other programs within the building to share our Swim Programs

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Planning of member engagement events such as open water swim or any extra event associated with Swim Team

  • Working with the Assistant Aquatics Manager to assure appropriate coverage during all operating hours

  • Other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification OR American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification AND CPR/AED/First Aid for Infant/Child/Adult

  • United States Master Swimming (USMS) Membership

Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $18.00/hour to $22.00/hour. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs.
