Tier I Automotive Supplier Company.
Department: Sealing/Gaskets (Automotive)
Type: Direct Hire
Relocation Assistance: Yes
Salary Range: $60-70,000
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plans and controls all inventory/production planning and control activities.
- Responsibilities may include inventory planning, scheduling, materials handling, inventory turnover, customer service levels, stocking decisions, forecasting and administrative controls.
- Analyze customer demand
- Calculate/Recalculate Kanban loops
- Establish correct inventory targets
- Responsible for analyzing and directing inventory reduction programs
- Identify areas for improvement and assist with solution implementation.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- May be given certain limited authority within job scope by
Manager - Each employee has the authority to initiate action to prevent a violation of the Federal-Mogul Integrity Policy.
- All employees will abide by the plant’s safety policy, comply with the legal and other requirements and operational controls established, work toward achieving established objectives and targets, and conform to procedures consistent with the ISO 14001 standard. An employee should report, and if necessary stop, any activity that does not conform to the policy or may injure himself/herself.
- Capable of providing support as requested by supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Must have prior experience scheduling inventory/production activities within a complex manufacturing environment with multiple part numbers/product lines. Preferably in the automotive industry.
- Must be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite, with high proficiency using excel spreadsheets.
- Must have the exceptionally strong ability to pay attention to detail. Must be willing and able to adapt to changing needs.
- Must have strong communication skills - interpersonal, verbal, and written skills are mandatory. Must possess the ability to work well with little to no supervision and with a collaborative team.
