Under general direction, coordinates work within or between departments of the plant to expedite (or support) production. Works independently without strict supervision. Prepares production schedules and work orders. Is able to prioritize specific customer orders and if necessary, revises production schedules. Allocates manpower, equipment, materials, and machines. Compiles records of production reports on volume, materials, etc. May lead and direct the work of others. Role typically requires more than 5 years of experience.
