Experience: 
The Marriott School at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah, invites applications for two (2) full-time professional faculty positions to begin Fall Semester 2027. Qualifications include a masters degree and a clear commitment to teaching excellence. Prior university teaching experience is preferred. 

Duties/Expectations: 

We are seeking candidates who are both highly qualified and enthusiastic about teaching across a broad range of business topics. Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the General Business Undergraduate Program by teaching a variety of courses offered across the business disciplines or by bringing specialized expertise in a track or area that is in high demand among students enrolled in the program.

General Business students receive a complete business education, taking the core classes taken by all of our undergraduate students, along with electives across accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, information systems, marketing, supply chain, strategy, and human resource management, with optional tracks in Business Analytics, Business for Good, Global Business, Healthcare Leadership, Impact Investing, or Leadership.

In addition to teaching, faculty members supporting this program will be expected to: 

• mentor students engaged in experiential learning activities;

• collaborate with colleagues to expand, enhance, and deliver a world-class educational program; 

• contribute to curriculum development with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement; and 
• participate in various forms of service to the department and university.
   

These professional faculty positions have no research expectations.  

Candidates must be available to begin full-time employment in Fall Semester 2027. The teaching load for this position consists of eight courses per year (24 credits), encompassing content development, delivery, assessment, and mentoring.

This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
