Job description

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Marketing Director for an established, premier Assisted Living Facility in Staten Island, NY.

This is a high-visibility leadership role designed for a results-driven professional who excels at the intersection of healthcare sales and community outreach. You will be the primary architect of the facility’s growth strategy, responsible for driving occupancy through the development of a robust professional referral network. We are looking for a "connector" who can navigate the Staten Island healthcare landscape—building deep ties with hospitals, SNFs, and rehab centers—to ensure the facility remains the first choice for families and providers in the region.

Job Responsibilities

  • Census Development: Create and execute data-driven marketing strategies to aggressively increase occupancy and maintain a high facility census.
  • Referral Engineering: Build and sustain high-value referral relationships with local hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), physicians, and social workers.
  • Community Advocacy: Represent the facility at networking events and community forums; conduct high-conversion on-site tours for prospective residents and families.
  • Lead Management: Utilize CRM systems to manage the full sales funnel, from initial inquiry to final move-in, focusing on optimizing lead-to-conversion metrics.
  • Digital Presence: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including the facility website, social media strategy, and the proactive management of online reviews and listings.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the clinical and executive teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with operational capacity and facility care goals.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor local competitor activity and market trends to adjust pricing and promotional strategies in real-time.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly performance reports to the executive team, highlighting growth trends and ROI on marketing spend.

Requirements

Experience & Education

  • Minimum of two (2) or more years of experience in Assisted Living, Senior Living, or Healthcare Marketing is REQUIRED.
  • Baccalaureate degree in Marketing, Health Service Management, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • A proven track record of significantly increasing census in a senior living or home care environment.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Skills & Competencies

  • Established Network: A pre-existing referral network within the Staten Island or NYC healthcare community is strongly preferred.
  • Sales Mastery: Excellent presentation and closing skills with a compassionate, resident-centered approach.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable utilizing CRM platforms for lead tracking and digital marketing tools for community engagement.
  • Mindset: Self-motivated, highly organized, and fiercely goal-oriented.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay with opportunities for overtime and weekend shifts.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life insurance and disability coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
  • Paid time off — vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
  • Continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  • Supportive, team-oriented work environment.
