About the Role

The Marketing Analytics & Campaign Associate is responsible for executing, managing, and optimizing engagement campaigns, including "Boost" and cross-pollination initiatives, aimed at increasing subscriber engagement and retention. This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams like Business Insights, Editorial, and Product to manage the end-to-end campaign lifecycle—from audience selection and deployment to reporting and analysis—while leveraging data insights to provide recommendations for improved targeting and overall campaign effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and optimize Boost campaigns designed to increase engagement among inactive, low-engagement, and declining subscriber segments.
  • Partner with Business Insights and Editorial teams to implement audience engagement strategies, campaign recommendations, and content selections.
  • Manage audience setup, campaign deployment, QA, scheduling, and reporting for Boost campaigns and other engagement initiatives.
  • Execute cross-pollination campaigns across the newsletter portfolio, including new launches, established newsletters, and partner brands.
  • Manage campaign calendars, testing plans, deployment, and performance reporting for cross-pollination initiatives.
  • Analyze audience behavior, engagement trends, and campaign performance to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Own reporting and provide recommendations to improve targeting, engagement, conversion, and overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Support promotional campaign initiatives and surveys through audience selection, campaign setup, deployment, reporting, and analysis.
  • Partner with Editorial, Marketing, Product, and Analytics teams to ensure campaigns are executed accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain campaign documentation, reporting dashboards, and operational workflows.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing analytics, audience development, campaign management, email marketing, or digital marketing.
  • Experience analyzing campaign performance and translating data into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience supporting audience growth, engagement, retention, or conversion-focused campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with reporting tools and performance metrics.
  • Highly organized with strong project management and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in newsletter, media, publishing, or subscription-based businesses.
  • Familiarity with Looker, GA4, and other analytics and reporting platforms.
  • Experience with audience segmentation, A/B testing, and campaign optimization.
  • Familiarity with basic email HTML and email QA best practices.

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $85,000 per year
