Market researcher ( Contract role)

Our client is based in South Auckland , however it would not be critical for the success of the role to be at the client site. You can work from home but would need operation SKYPE to stay connected with the client 

The key focus of the position will be to contribute to market specific research and analysis for client by initially compiling data from statistics New Zealand and then matching the data with market information. 

This is an opportunity for a talented student to further develop their statistical and marketing skills within an innovative organisation (you could do this project as part of your marketing internship)

If you have a head for analytic and marketing talent, this would be the right role for you.   

To be successful with this, you'll be qualified to a graduate or post-graduate level in Statistics and/or Marketing. Comfortable using analytical tools like SAS Language/SQL/R would be excellent but not necessary. But a good working knowledge of Excel is essential for the role. 

• Liaise with clients and understand their requirements

• Plan and design analysis to help answer market research problems

• Handle and manipulate large data sets with analytical tools.

• Interpret data and create actionable insights
