Market Lead – Animal Health

Location: Mauritius

We are seeking an experienced and driven Market Lead to drive commercial growth and market development within the animal health sector across Mauritius and regional markets.

This role is ideal for a commercially strong professional with proven marketing expertise, the ability to build strategic partnerships, and experience operating in a multi-country environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute go-to-market and marketing strategies to drive growth
• Lead annual marketing plans, campaigns, and product positioning
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities
• Partner with sales teams and distributors to drive product uptake
• Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders
• Provide marketing tools, training, and support to field teams
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
• Monitor sales performance, market trends, and profitability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Regulatory, Technical, and Finance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Animal Science, Veterinary Science or similar
• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in marketing or commercial roles within the animal health industry (preferred)
• Experience working across regional or multi-country markets
• Strong understanding of animal health regulatory and commercial environments
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capability
• Willingness to travel within the region as required
