ISMIRA Agency actively recruiting for positions UTILITY CLEANER for MARELLA CRUISES!

The Utility Cleaner is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance the galleys on a daily basis, following the cleaning guidelines set by Onboard Management.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all cleaning materials, chemicals and machinery necessary for the daily operation, in a safe and responsible manner.
• Clean and maintain galley floors, walls, machinery and tools after every service, with emphasis on the health and safety of all staff.
• Participate in all assigned training programs in order to develop skills with a view for future development and potential promotion.
• Work with cleaning machinery as assigned by the shipboard management.
• Cross train on all cleaning machinery.
• Perform all duties according to Shipsan, the European sanitation program, and the United States Public Health rules and regulations.
• Assist with stores and provision loading as directed.
• Monitor the cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and ship property used in the execution of duties.
• Ensure use of authorized-only chemicals
• Attend departmental meetings and trainings as instructed.
• Ensure that personal appearance, uniform and personal hygiene are in accordance with company regulations.

Requirements:

• Intermediate level of English
• Experience and/or training in the hospitality field considered a plus.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with the senior management.
• Work with international team members.
• Age starting 18 years old
• Tattoos are allowed (except offensive and facial)
