Mapping Support

Marathon TS is seeking a Mapping Support Analyst to provided support to a Government Mapping program.

Marathon TS is seeking entry level candidate with Degrees in Geography or Environmental Science to provide Customer support and Subject Matter expertise on Nation Wide Mapping Program.

We are looking for a helpdesk specialist for our newly awarded FEMA RiskMAP contract. The candidate will assist in addressing questions, provide guidance, as well as perform risk assessment analyses to determine homeowners flood insurance requirements through the Letter Of Map Amendment process. Must have strong analytical and people skills. Ideal candidate will be a strong team player with an attention to detail.

- Associates Degree or equivalent 

-The candidate must have a strong sense of customer service 

-The candidate must exhibit good listening, problem solving skills, and analytics skills 

- The candidate must exhibit strong verbal and written (business) communication skills 

- The candidate must demonstrate the ability to read, use and interpret maps. 

- The candidate must be able to multi-task and the have the ability to work in a fast paced team environment. 

-The candidate must demonstrate computer literacy as well as good data entry and typing skills. 

- English-language proficiency 

  Desired Skills 

-Bachelor Degree or previous work experience in the earth sciences/mapping (geography, geology, environmental sciences, surveying).
