As a Manufacturing Technology Engineer, you'll help bridge the gap between R&D and manufacturing by leading the scale-up and commercialization of advanced adhesive technologies serving high-growth markets such as electric vehicles and advanced mobility. You'll gain hands-on experience across process development, manufacturing operations, capital projects, and continuous improvement while collaborating with experts across multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Scale-Up Excellence & Process Optimization

  • Lead the scale-up of innovative adhesive technologies from pilot through commercial production, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-performing manufacturing processes.
  • Drive improvements in scale-up efficiency by reducing trial costs, shortening development timelines, and applying data-driven best practices.
  • Optimize yield, throughput, and process reliability to improve manufacturability, operational excellence, and overall business performance.

Technology Development & Advanced Mobility Growth

  • Evaluate emerging process technologies, equipment, and manufacturing approaches to support innovation and business growth.
  • Enable successful commercialization of technologies supporting Advanced Mobility and Electric Vehicle (EV) applications.
  • Influence manufacturing technology decisions through technical expertise, risk assessment, and alignment with long-term business objectives.

Project Leadership & Commercialization

  • Serve as the Manufacturing Technology lead or key technical contributor on capital, expansion, and commercialization projects.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout project development, process scale-up, startup, and product launch activities.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure successful project execution and sustainable manufacturing performance.

Quality, Cost & Continuous Improvement

  • Improve manufacturing performance by reducing Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), increasing trial success rates, and strengthening process control strategies.
  • Develop and standardize operating procedures, process standards, and control methodologies that enable consistent, world-class production.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions that enhance quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost competitiveness, process robustness, and customer satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Technical Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with Operations, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless technology transfer and commercialization.
  • Serve as a trusted technical resource for complex manufacturing, process, and scale-up challenges.
  • Share knowledge and deploy best practices across manufacturing sites to accelerate learning and strengthen organizational capability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, process engineering, or operations environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
