Position Summary:

Reporting to the Manufacturing Director, the Technical support Manager leads a team of operational specialists responsible for ensuring robust day‑to‑day support of manufacturing operations. This includes oversight of deviations, CAPAs, change controls, document updates, Quality Risk Management (QRM) activities, and cross‑functional projects.

The Manager ensures that all operational support processes are executed in compliance with cGMP, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and internal quality systems. This role provides strategic direction, resource planning, and performance management for the operational support function while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. This role is directly accountable for on time closure of these activities.

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Operational Specialist team while ensuring effective resource planning, training compliance, and high performance.
  • Oversee quality systems activities, including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, risk assessments, documentation management, investigations, and audit readiness.
  • Support manufacturing operations by ensuring compliance, reviewing records, managing training programs, supporting tech transfers, start-up activities, and commercial production.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives through cross-functional projects, process optimization, KPI monitoring, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and successful delivery of business objectives.


Who You Will Be?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in GMP manufacturing, quality systems, operational support, or a related regulated environment.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements and quality systems, including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and quality risk management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
  • Collaborative and proactive mindset, with the ability to work effectively across Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain functions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
