Purpose

Support Manufacturing Engineering activities in the production area through data collection, problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, improving process performance and supporting future product introductions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, structure and analyse production, quality and scrap data.
  • Support root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on process performance.
  • Monitor key manufacturing KPIs, including Scrap and FTQ.
  • Support documentation updates according to IATF requirements.
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineers in implementing and validating improvement actions.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to cross-functional teams.
  • Support problem-solving taskforces and improvement workshops.

Profile

  • Degree or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in manufacturing and continuous improvement.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel; Power BI is a plus.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English.
