As a Manufacturing Engineer at Baker Hughes you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and improve manufacturing systems and processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
  • Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.
  • Evaluate and recommend new equipment, technologies, and methods to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Train and support production staff in the implementation of new processes and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Serve as the technical reference for the Manufacturing Engineering team, ensuring adherence to standards and supporting continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field or proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Italian.
  • Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools is a plus.

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 36,000 To 49,500.

The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay
