Apply to this jobThis site re-manufactures ultra sound equipment, the successful candidate will need to have previous experience working with small hand tools/microscopes as this is a micro assembly manufacturing environment. In addition candidate having gluing or bonding (epoxy/resin) experience is a huge plus. Candidates will need to have experience using computers as they will do testing and quality/data entry.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent or 6 months of manufacturing experience
- Ability to communicate, receive and understand instructions regarding duties to be performed
- Demonstrated ability to detail and quality-minded work habits
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with co-workers and leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent
- 2 or more years of related manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated Mechanical Aptitude
- Past experience in Cosmetic Finishing, requiring a high attention to detail
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
- Reads and follows work procedures and schematics or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed
- Performs manufacturing/assembly operations and various tasks following procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, and process aid sheets
- Maintains daily production output
- Follows all EHS and Quality policies and procedures
- Checking and review of final product paper work
- Participate in lean implementation and processes. This would include processes like standard work, single piece flow, 5S, and other tools from the Lean toolkit.
- Entry level into the organization and develops into proficiency of two production areas of expertise.
- May participate in quality control inspections
- Works with team lead, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency
- Other duties as assigned, and may be asked to be included in quality activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams
- Comply with EHS regulations and policies
