Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI. The role requires strong data modeling, visualization, and analytical skills to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources including SQL databases, APIs, and Excel.

• Develop data models and DAX calculations to support business analytics requirements.

• Optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in reporting solutions.

• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and best practices for data governance.

• Maintain documentation for dashboards, datasets, and data pipelines.

• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, DAX, Data Modeling).

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

• Experience working with data warehousing concepts.

• Ability to connect Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, Cloud sources).

• Understanding of ETL processes and data transformation.

• Knowledge of data visualization best practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.

• Experience with Azure Data Services or Microsoft Fabric is a plus.

• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is an advantage.

• Experience in business intelligence or data analytics projects.
