Hours Commitment: 40–45 hrs/week, Wednesday–Sunday (regular weekend work, occasional extended hours during seasonal events, and monthly All Staff Tuesdays/LCBCU)
Objective: Support LCBC's Manheim campus by preparing, maintaining, and operating audio, video, and lighting systems, while developing and leading volunteer tech teams. This role blends relational leadership with hands-on technical production, helping create excellent environments for weekend services, student gatherings, and campus events (weddings, funerals, graduations, Manheim Worship Night, and more).

Primary Responsibilities:

Recruit, train, and lead volunteer tech teams

Operate and troubleshoot sound, lighting, and video systems in live environments

Coordinate tech support for scheduled campus events and student gatherings

Maintain and adapt AVL systems to meet evolving needs

Collaborate with campus and central production staff to align with ministry goals
Required Skills:

Working knowledge of professional AVL systems (audio consoles, lighting, video routing/switching)

Ability to troubleshoot and make decisions in fast-paced, live production settings

Physical ability to set up/tear down equipment, climb ladders, and lift overhead

Strong leadership and volunteer development skills

Evaluation:
The Manheim Production Tech will meet regularly with the Director of Production Services for planning, goal setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.
