About the Role
MSC Consulting is looking for a Manager – Technology Policy & Innovation to lead consulting engagements at the intersection of technology, public policy, innovation, and social development. The role involves working closely with government bodies, global organizations, and private sector stakeholders to design and implement technology policy initiatives and digital innovation programs.
The selected candidate will contribute to projects related to Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Public Goods (DPGs), regulatory sandboxes, and emerging technology ecosystems across India and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Execution
- Lead consulting engagements focused on technology policy, digital public infrastructure, and innovation ecosystems.
- Conduct problem analysis, research, and policy assessments to develop actionable recommendations for clients.
- Support implementation of initiatives such as innovation labs, digital transformation programs, and hackathons.
- Manage stakeholder engagement, client communication, and project delivery across multiple assignments.
- Supervise and guide Analysts and Associates to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
- Prepare presentations, policy briefs, analytical reports, and strategic documents.
- Represent the organization at client meetings, workshops, conferences, and industry forums.
Business Development
- Develop proposals, concept notes, and pitch decks for potential clients and strategic partners.
- Contribute to thought leadership through policy papers, research reports, articles, and publications.
- Support digital campaigns and knowledge initiatives on emerging technology policy themes.
Professional Development
- Continuously enhance expertise in areas such as digital governance, artificial intelligence, regulatory frameworks, and innovation ecosystems.
- Contribute to team capacity building, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in internal learning and development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics & Communication preferred).
- Master’s degree in MBA, Public Policy, Law, or related field preferred.
- Additional certifications or exposure in technology policy, digital governance, or innovation management will be an advantage.
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in technology policy, consulting, innovation programs, or digital governance initiatives.
- Prior experience with consulting firms, think tanks, government advisory projects, or policy institutions preferred.
- Strong understanding of Digital Public Infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence, and emerging technology policy frameworks.
