Your Team's Impact
Our clients are increasingly seeking ways to optimize the integration and maintenance of their workflows to free up time, reduce operational costs, and minimize personnel risk. FactSet's Managed Services, leveraging our middle office solutions, allowing users to navigate complex workflows, ensure data quality, and access actionable.
What You'll Do
- Lead, manage, and oversee the performance and output of the assigned team, ensuring efficient workflow, high productivity, and consistent results. Responsibilities include team development, performance management, and recruitment.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Internal Systems, and Product Development to ensure alignment and support for team initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in a hands-on managerial role.
- Partner with the Site Operations Manager, Product Managers, and Buy Side Services stakeholders to coordinate and manage all analytics activities handled by direct reports.
- Establish clear goals and objectives, providing strategic direction and guidance to team leaders.
- Manage and allocate incoming tasks, ensuring equitable distribution across the team.
- Monitor and optimize team workload and responsibilities to enhance productivity and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Possess a strong understanding of equity and fixed income concepts and analytics, both theoretically and in practice.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the tools, systems, and processes used to conduct and manage efficient operations teams
- Define and implement performance metrics to evaluate individual analyst contributions and overall team success.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, recognizing and rewarding high performers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and deliver timely, constructive feedback.
- Develop and implement Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) when necessary.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve team processes and output quality.
- Support hiring efforts by building a strong candidate pipeline and developing training programs for high-potential hires.
What We're Looking For
- Solid foundation in Finance, supported by a university degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Financial Management, Mathematical Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- A postgraduate degree and/or relevant professional certifications are highly preferred.
- Current or most recent role should be at the Manager or Associate/Assistant Manager level with experience as a “manager of managers”.
- Minimum of 9 years of overall professional experience, including at least 12 to 24 months in a manager role.
- Proven experience in managing teams of 30 to 50 analysts.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of logic and basic coding concepts is a plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability in people and performance management.
- Highly proactive in driving improvement initiatives; strong change management capabilities.
- Strong business acumen, well-organized, analytical, and strategic in problem-solving.
- Willingness and ability to work in a hybrid setup, with the first six months onsite to accelerate learning and integration.
- Flexible working in shifts aligned with business requirements.
