Pay Range: $104,915.00 - $167,918.00

Summary:

The Manager will be responsible for the operations of 6E Medical Surgical. The Manager of Patient Care will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the department(s). This includes managing staff, coordinating patient care, and ensuring the smooth operations of the department.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Recruits, coaches, and manages staff, including setting goals and objectives and conducting performance evaluations.

  • Coordinates patient care by managing patient flow and communicating collaboration with healthcare providers, and/or cross functional teams.

  • Oversees the department’s financial operations, including budgeting, productivity, and reporting.

  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including HIPAA and OSHA.

  • Monitors the department’s performance and quality metrics and implements improvements as needed.

  • Fosters a positive and professional work environment for staff and patients.

  • Handles patient inquiries and complaints in a timely and compassionate manner.

  • Follows the chain of command process for nursing practice and/or clinical services.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

Certification:

  • Driver's License with Acceptable Driving Record | Driver’s License - Current State Licensed | Prior to Start Date 

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) | American Heart Association (AHA) | Within 90 days of Start Date | Learning Management System

Education:

• Required: Associates - Business- OR -Associates - Healthcare

• Preferred: Bachelors - Business- OR -Bachelors - Healthcare- OR -Masters - Business- OR -Masters - Healthcare

Work Experience:

• Required: A minimum of 5 years Related Experience

This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members.
