Your Impact in This Role

Rudheath Lodge is a quarry situated South of Knutsford and Northwich, producing silica, mainly for the construction industry. It operates from Monday to Saturday, with 2 teams working on alternating shifts. This Operations Manager works from Monday to Friday.

The Operations Manager organizes, optimizes and continually improves the operational, production and maintenance activities, taking into account the Sibelco Values and policies. 

The Operations Manager drives his/her operational organization in order to maintain and develop the quarry, while guarantying performance objectives in terms of HSE, quality, quantity, planning and costs.

What You Bring to the Table

• Multiple years of industry experience in mining/minerals, ideally as a Quarry Manager but operational & QHSE backgrounds within the relevant industries will also be considered

• SHEQ Qualified and 8.1 (C) appointed person would be ideal

• Strong people management experience.

You must have the right to work in the UK and we will also consider applications from candidates on an interim basis, although our preference will be for permanent candidates.
