Test Equipment & Process Section Manager

As the Equipment & Process Section Manager for the Test Department, the successful candidate will be based in GJ India, reporting to the Test Engineering Senior Manager, and be responsible for all Equipment Support (E.S.), Equipment/Process Engineering and supporting Test Operations/Technical Staff, growing the organization into a world class team.

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Managing all aspect of Equipment Support and Equipment/Process Engineering functions for the department.  
• Budgeting, recruiting, hiring, and training of Equipment/Process team, to meet Test Operation output needs.
• Budgeting, monitoring, controlling and improvement of Equipment/Process related expenses.
• Setting up of all Equipment Engineering and Equipment Support processes, including maintenance procedures.  
• Ensuring proper Equipment/process related documentation is in place for the Test site.  
• Interacting with peers and other Departments globally as required.  
• Monitoring, reporting, improving, and addressing issues with throughput, performance metrics, and other engineering data.  
• Responsible for performance of all equipment in the department
• Responsible for ensuring availability of equipment, materials, spares, repairs, consumables, to support the operation and manufacturing ramp-up.
• Performance management of the Equipment Support Team and its members
• Development of the Equipment Support Team and its members from Skills and Leadership perspective
• Responsible for Disciplinary issues within Equipment Section team.

Qualifications

Successful candidates for this position will: 

• Have a minimum 7 years technical staff leadership experience
• Have good communication, interpersonal, relationship building, and team building skills
• Have strong analytical, troubleshooting, resource and performance management skills
• Be proficient with reporting and data tools and manufacturing software systems, and engineering and equipment support software applications.  
• Have extensive knowledge of ATE, burn in or/and AOI scanner/laser marker/packing equipment & process
• Be fluent in English
• Possess an Engineering Degree
