We are looking for a Manager, Master Data, Business Relations Management to join our team in UPM Business Hub Poland in Wroclaw.

What you will do

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of the Business Partner Master Data domain, ensuring end-to-end service excellence across UPM Business Areas and Functions and alignment with common MDM service practices
  • Own and develop the Business Relations Management framework, fostering strong stakeholder engagement across all Master Data domains, including Business Areas, Global Functions, IT, HR, and external partners
  • Maintain and continuously develop the stakeholder management framework, including stakeholder mapping, communication channels, and engagement plans
  • Manage stakeholder communication tools and channels, including distribution lists, contact databases, and user engagement analytics
  • Lead the Vendor Master Data Governance Working Group, including backlog management, support for the Master Data Product Owner and Master Data Quality initiatives, and facilitation of governance activities and decision-making forums
  • Act as line manager for the Business Partner Master Data team, including coaching, performance management, capability development, recruitment, succession planning, and employee engagement
  • Provide functional leadership and strategic direction to the Vendor Master Data operational team through Team Leader leadership, ensuring alignment, service performance, and continuous development
  • Ensure adequate service capacity, operational efficiency, and process performance, while maintaining clear guidelines, work instructions, data standards, and governance practices

Who you are

  • You have master’s degree (or equivalent) and 7+ years of relevant experience in Master Data Management, Service Management, or Shared Services
  • You have knowledge of Source-to-Pay processes, Vendor Master Data, and supplier lifecycle management
  • You have leadership experience in a global and matrix organization
  • You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • You have experience in service delivery, process improvement, and data governance
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You have experience working with enterprise platforms and tools supporting Master Data Management e.g.; Stibo STEP (Stibo Systems Enterprise Platform) or other Master Data Management systems
  • You are fluent in English; other languages are considered an asset

Additional information

This position offers a hybrid working model, combining remote work from home with regular on-site collaboration in Wrocław.

The position holder will report to Master Data Management Tower Lead.
