Manager Installation

Location: Lichtenvoorde, Netherlands (Minimum 3 days in LCV office, preferably more; up to 20% travel)
Division: Meat

The further strengthen our Meat Division, we are currently recruiting a Manager Installation, who will be in charge of a team of (approximately) 15 International Site Supervisors, (mainly based in NL and Poland), who focus on the execution of Installation and Service Projects for the projects of our Meat Division (globally). As our Manager Installation, you are responsible for creating, developing and managing your team. In your day-to-day, you can expect to:
 

• Analyze information to determine needs for successfully planned installations
• Be responsible for identifying future talent and further development and growth of your team
• Mentor employees about work-related issues and assist employees to support job-skill gaps and ensure employee job satisfaction
• Initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures when required and conduct regular appraisals and performance meetings with next in line employees
• Ensure that all Installations and special projects executed by your team, are delivered on time and within budget and reporting is done on time and as designed
• Be responsible for Health & Safety worker trainings, for site and working on Marel machinery
• Participate in field service management meetings to set directions, goals and strategy for the operation.
• Travel occasionally as required by the business (10 - 20%)

What kind of a person are you?

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Software Engineering (or similar knowledge level).
• Excellent written and spoken English, (german is preferred)
• Former Site Supervisor and/or team leader, excellent communicator, comfortable in dealing with customer’s management
• Professional experience in Field Service Management or Site Supervision within the equipment/Software manufacturing sector and/or similar industries. Food industry preferable
• Leadership, management and motivation of people, gaining commitment from both internal and external colleagues
• Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with the company’s products and processes
• Ability to make decisions and meet deadlines
• Strong in Stakeholder management
