Position Overview:
The Manager, Group Sales is responsible for the sales and service of all ticket products for the NBA G-League Capital City Go-Go, playing at the CareFirst Arena in Congress Heights, Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:
- Increase ticket sales and ticket sales revenue for the Capital City Go-Go, through telemarketing, email marketing, face-to-face presentations and creative social media communications.
- Use enthusiastic tactics to build new sales opportunities and develop prospects by calling on self-generated leads as well as provided sales campaigns.
- Consistently achieve or exceed performance metrics and weekly sales activity.
- Strategically prospect new group sales opportunities and collaborate with teammates to design new Theme Nights.
- Enter all pertinent prospect and customer information into Salesforce CRM for efficient reporting and effective pipeline management.
- Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions daily (e.g. strong social skills, positivity, timely and professional follow-through, willingness to new ideas and suggestions).
- On-site Ticket Sales Manager for all Capital City Go-Go games.
- Responsible for the execution of all ticket activations and fan experiences.
- Upsell Opportunities- ability to upsell prospects into a Full-Menu of Ticket products for the Washington Wizards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- 1-2 Years of Sales Experience including telemarketing and pipeline management experience.
- Ability to make 40+ outbound calls daily.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to build a career in professional sports.
Pay Rate: $19.85 USD/hour.
