Manager Customs

Job Description
In your new role you will:
  • Responsible for all Customs related tasks for sale office sites.
  • Review and approve the import and export shipments to ensure the declaration accuracy and meet local Customs regulations.
  • Evaluate the Customs master data reflecting tariff opinion in the region, like HS code, CoO or valuation.
  • Initiate with global process owner to resolve the Customs issue from system and process base.
  • Lead and monitor the implementation of internal compliance program to ensure customs compliance.
  • Monitor changes in customs regulations and laws and deliver corresponding training.
  • Provide consultative advice for the internal stockholders.
  • Drive international trading analysis and ensure the awareness of impacts to stakeholders globally and transform the feasible solutions to operation team.
  • As a member of Customs Competence Center, initiate, lead, and participate in special ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Drive progress positively in cross-functions collaboration.


Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in logistics, customs, international trade, or English majors.
  • Minimum 5 years of import and export experience in a multi-national company.
  • Preferably basic technical and semi-conductor industry know-how, paired with high degree of analytical thinking involving high complexity and driving solutions 
  • Customs expertise in Country of Origin, Customs Valuation, E-account book management and Customs system are the must.
  • Experienced in leading project and programs with excellent data analysis and system thinking is preferred.
  • Positive and self motivation, good interpersonal skills and team player.
  • Good oral and written English communication skills.
