This is a Manager, Controller role in Inter company & Opex COE team within Global Financial Operations in Record to Report Controllership, India. The position will be responsible for managing accounting for and leading the Investment Equity governance for American Express Entities. The incumbent will also be responsible for ensuring control & compliance in addition to driving Gen AI adoption. The role will also require partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to assess and govern the accounting impacts of enterprise initiatives, legal entity restructurings and business changes, ensuring effective implementation, consistent application of accounting policies and meeting reporting requirements. In this position, the incumbent will have an extensive engagement with varied Finance groups and would require good understanding of US GAAP requirements.
