Job description

Manulife’s Distribution Strategy team in Hong Kong is mainly focuses on driving strategy for Distribution Channels and supporting end-to-end implementation to create value for Manulife Hong Kong. Team members would have direct exposure and influences across all major distribution channels, including Agency, Brokerage, and Bancassurance.

Manulife Hong Kong is seeking for a Manager/ Assistant Manager, HK Distribution Strategy Office to be responsible for bringing top-notch strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to build solid capabilities and drive transformation for delivering values for our Customers, Shareholders and Employees. Specifically, the role will be key in supporting the development and execution of strategic projects that enhance channel performance and build future-ready capabilities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of strategic initiatives across Agency, Bancassurance, and Brokerage channels

  • Deliver end-to-end strategic projects, including analysis, solution design, execution support, and change management

  • Conduct market research, data analysis, and stakeholder interviews to identify opportunities and formulate recommendations

  • Prepare presentation materials and reports to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders

  • Collaborate closely with senior team members and cross-functional partners  

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate with top-tier management consulting background, or extensive experience in Insurance industry, having both experiences is highly preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure issues and develop actionable insights

  • Experience in supporting or managing workstreams independently, with stakeholder engagement exposure

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly to different audiences Team spirit, open and positive in collaborative environment
