Independently perform Senior level technical support within the maintenance department. Trains lower-level Technicians on more advanced tasks. 

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to AbbVie’s code of conduct .

  • Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met. 

  • Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis .

  • Capable of training others on tasks. 

  • Is proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines.  

  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows). 

  • Fully proficient in their core function, performing advanced level tasks. 

  • Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.

  • Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site.

  • Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations.

  • Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.

  • HS diploma or GED required.

  • 10+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or Associates technical degree with 3+ yrs. experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions. 

  • Electrical experience with motors, controls, PLCs .

  • CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired.

  • Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools).

  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).
